are these accurate? do you really burn as much as they say.. im sure they are im just really curious how some people are running these huge setups and drawing hundreds in bills. If i ran a 600w 12/12 it would cost me $30 extra a month if i ran a 250w 24/7 it would cost me like $21-22 i rounded up with $60 using the extra $8 a month for random things like timers fans etc. Does this seem about right? hoping to get a elbow a crop in 4x4 tent hopefully a 600 can produce

600 watts is a little small to get the desired 5000 lumens/sq/ft, it would work though just not at its optimum best. What is your average k/hr rate? $0.12?

it's simple.
KWph * # of Kwatts * hours of use per day * days in use per month.

$0.15108 * .600 = 0.090648 * 12hours= 1.087776 * 30days= $32.63328

so yeah highman, looks like your calculations are right. depending on the rates in your area.

yeah but here in Ontario our electricity costs 4-7 cents/KWH

even though if you have 600W on 12h/day it would cost bout 12$
i am only spending 1.33$/month with a few florescents
