I was wondering what woulb be better to do, (2-3/3 ) ebb and flow tray or the 12 pot multi pot system? I will be using a 2 600 watt lumateks on light movers. I would like to acheive a pound a month, Also what type of increase in my bill would i see if i was using a mh 400 18/6 and the 600s 12/12? I really would appreciate any feedback. THANKS!

the pge monthly cost depneds on where your at in the country and also wat bracket you fall in on ur bill! like im aloud 2000 kwh a motn or so and when i go pass that i pay 8 cents or watever it is! im gonna say yours will be around $125-$150! thats not counting fans and ac and pumps and timers and controllers, thats just the light but everything else wont be more than $50! wat state u live in???

im getting the ebb and grow kit in a month or so! 24 bucket kit! its the 12 bucket kit for $399 (plantlightinghyrdoponics.com) with the 12 expansion kit! i heard nothing but good things! im just trying to figure out my medium, ill probally go with hydroton! i dont want to make a stand and buy trays and everything thats why im going with the pots!

well u wont get a pound a month with only one setup unless u got that new 4 week strain bro! but every 8 weeks u should get atleast a lb with 2 600's on a mover doing hydro! ill be watching make sure u make a journal. good luck keep em green

he gets a lb every 2 weeks from 2x1000 im sure youll meet your quota with 2x600's

i always use a tray i find it easier to clean and manage it allows me for better plant mobility if i have to. the whole tray floods i used it with pots and grorocks and now i use it as DWC, i dunno about prices since i build my trays using wood and vineyl some people use epoxy paint it's much cheaper and allows me to modify the size as i want but if you're not handy with wood and if you dont have the right equipment just buy one. the pots have a good side to them is the smaller water volume needed to flood them so you can go with a smaller res than with the tray... cheers

with 2x6's and vinly, u got a pic of those???? i was think of building them but bougth them instead, how sturdy are they??

there ya go :) in the 2nd pic you can see the vineyl sheet if you look closely, it works great very sturdy, vineyl is intended for floors and handles pressure. i used silicon acid-free kind used for submerged joints not the ordinary one used on the sink edge. i'll be makin a mini tray very soon maybe in the next couple of days it will be my new cloner i'll make a detailed thread of how to do it right cuz theres just a little bit more to it i need to take pics and explain as i build it. it takes me less than 1 hour to build such a tray and i have to wait a day for silicon to cure and im done:) peace
