I am going to break down and buy one, and not interested in the hydro meter all in one.

dude do you seriously think that anyone is going to type all that in??? lol, If Hanna makes it it's probably a pretty good tester. Good Luck

Hello Flying :)

Perfect :aok:

LF, never heard of cut'n'paste? ;)

:peace:

Flying High Hanna produce the ducks nuts pH testers for aquariums. Very reliable instrument. Bid away happily.

Most breeds of fish will only breed in a very narrow pH band; moderate to high level accuracy required and delivered with Hanna meters.

Thanks for the help.!!:smoke1:

Slowly but surely I'll get everything.
I need to sell some more thing on ebay..;)

How long does one of those electro rods last anyway.??

LOL...no hippy I haven't, first time with a computer, though I have info coming for a class at the local community college....never to old to learn. I have a hanna PH tester that I love though, so I don't think I need to look, I would just not spend more than what I could buy it for outright...check your prices. Although you probably already have.

I have had the same tip for over a year,(I'm on my 4th grow indoors with it) your going to want to get a calibration solution to, to make sure you have it dialed in good.

Do what ? Another cost
what is a calibration solution.?
Do I need it right away?

You will need calibrating solution(s) to calibrate your new meter. It will not be accurate right out of the box.

yeah unfortunately thats part of it.. You will need ph4.0 and/or 7.0 it's not that expencive though. Most quality meters come with a short supply of the solution. Goodluck

my hannah ph pen came from ebay with enough solution to use for an entire grow, plus part of another. bought it for $30 2 years ago, and going strong...

Well I order this tester hope it does the job and it comes with a calibrating solution buffer too..

Yeah...Having your meter properly calibrated is absolutely key...

I use the model that you ordered...absolutely spot on (I periodically test and compare with a liquid pH tester solution)

I make sure it is correctly calibrated once per grow...

Be sure to follow the instructions carefully when you calibrate..have everything laid out before you start...

The actual pen and a $4 pouch of extra solution is all I've had to spend...

no new probe needed (yet..I've been using the pen for almost a year)

enjoy! it's a good piece of equipment
