Dying Leaves on Mama ??

Help, I am growing a super girl feminised in a five gallon bucket bubbler type thing. She is in day 44 of flowering, and last night I checked on her and the water/fan leaves are drying up. And breaking off. i stopped nutrients 4 days ago. I filled it a little full a few days ago, but the water level has since dropped back down. Not sure whats goin on or what to. I just don't want to hurt whats there, sticky thing that it has become. I cut one cola done the other day, weighed over 2 ozs wet.... Dry.... well still better than buying it. Any help would be great , thanks. Oh I am using a 400 w HPS about 10 - 12 inches from the top. It happened the day the lights were off, and this just started the light has been there for over a month. Dont want to chop her down quite yet.

OH.. Lights were only 8 inches, maybe got a little warm.

if she is almost ready she will start losing leaves naturally. they yellow and fall off or I pull them off. could be that too. good luck!
