Hi all...newbie here. I have been reading and reading. This site has some awesome information, thanks to everyone here. The one thing I am not sure about, is are males good for anything besides pollenating? Do they still provide bud? Are you still able to smoke males? Or should I just pull the 2 I have and start over? Thanks in advance...going back to reading.:)

Hey mzprfkt, you've come to a good place to learn. I'm not even close to an expert at growing but in my opinion the only thing you should keep them for is if you want to pollenate some females to get some seeds. You will get no bud from them just pollen, and if you smoke it you'll probably just end up with a head-ache. If your wanting pollen just keep them around until they're mature enough and then yank 'em.

crap...thats what I was afraid of :(
Thanks so much though for the replies....
Guess I am back to phase one.....

You can separate the males, let them continue to flower/mature as, depending on the strain, will also produce trichs, and then later on yank them, dry them, and smoke them also - several people have reported here also smoking the males and getting high (not as high as with female bud).

Autos, brother. I have seen several auto males that produced trich's.

Mzprfkt, are you sure that all twenty some are male? Like, I've never seen that one before.

My males are WW and produce trichs all the time. Not as much as females, but they do produce sticky trichs.

Dude, are you positive that all twenty some are male? I mean, no hairs anywhere in the bunch?
