Hi Folks
Getting sleepy & about to turn the heat off on my cannibutter soon (double boiler method, has been 3 hours). It's my first batch. All recipes I've found say you have to strain it after it cools. But what if I don't bother straining? Is it just a preference to strain the bits out or is there actually some kind of ill-effect to leaving it in? I think I'm going to make brownies, so I wouldn't think the pot would have a bad taste mixed with the chocolate (I grew it myself, so I know there's nothing nasty in it).
Input appreciated
