diy stealth vegative grow box build

anyone have recommendations on lights, fans, and ventilation? ill probably make one about 3.5' tall 2' wide and 2' deep. any ideas on materials would be cool. wanna keep it cheap. post pics of you have them.

Hey bro!

Sure. Get hold of a sheet and a half of plywood and a couple old hinges. 1/2 " will do nicely. But make it at least 4 foot tall if you can. Put two sets of 4' fluoros on the sides of the box. Hang four cfl's above the plants. Really makes a huge diff lighting them from the sides. I really recommend fluoro light, including cfl, to keep the heat down, especially in small enclosed spaces. Get yourself two case fans from a computer tower. Or four. But two should be adequate for your sized box. They are fairly quiet and don't use hardly any juice. Get a 12 volt powersupply from around the house, ie, a cell phone charger, video camera power supply, any 12 volt power suppy that outputs more than the combination of the two fans consumption. Cut two holes for the fans and mount them with the bottom rear fan blowing in and the top rear blowing out. Put a hasp and a lock on the door and go, man, go!
Oh, paint the inside flat white! Not shiny, just white. Makes a BIG difference in overall healthy growth...
