Just watched a re-run today with 20' seas.
I love bein out in the gulf stream pullin up snapper and grouper, or fightin a nice swordfish or something...but that Bearing Sea crap is for the insane. Gettin washed overboard and dying of hypothermia in a matter of minutes, doesn't sound to fun to me. Can't enjoy that 20K if your DEAD. :p

i watched it , i watched it!!!

What is it?

yup yup thats true id be very carful lol i go fishing alot lol my pops got 2 boats lol i have caught alot of big fish lol caught a 45 pound king was about as big as me like 2 inches shorter it was 5 foot 6 or 7 it took 2 hours to get the big boy into the boat and i caught a 450 pound blue marlin and a few big makos and hammer heads nothin funner then fishin and catchin some big fish!!

fishing is one of the few things i will take "quantity over quality"!

Nothin like fishing for days only to catch nothin! Or catching a monster and eating it in every meal for eternity.........

of course ive had some great times with the boyz when we just give up, drink all the beer, and :chillpill:

I worked my Dad's commercial fish tug on the Great Lakes, in my younger days (about 10 yrs. total). We ran gill nets in Lakes Michigan, Huron and Erie...let me tell you it can get pretty hairy out there. Especially Lake Erie, it is the shallowest of the Greats, and when a storm comes up it turns into a choppy hell. Especially those gales in the late fall, the water is grey-green, the waves 30-40 ft tall and your in a 35 ft boat, talk about tossin' cookies... oh well, glad those days are over...now I'm comfortably numb.

Peace...j.b.
