I chopped the GDPA. Not certain it was even still alive. I have a couple hundred seeds drying. I guess they will be GDPA X Wedding Glue Auto X Bubble Gum Auto. Still waiting for more amber in the others. All I really want are the seeds. I doubt there are two ounces on the four without seeds. The Supafreaks are growing fast now that they have the right nutrients. I will up pot them next week if I have time. Maybe put them on auto water pots as well.

I only had 90 minutes to play today, and wasted most of that fixing the top stair where the builders had just tacked a make shift kick plate with nothing to protect the edge of the particle board floor.

I know I'm going to hate myself for using all those small pieces, but I had them laying around and didn't want to have to toss them at the end. Any whole boards I have left over I can return, and I have lots of tape and joint compound : )

Amazing how much junk was at the other end of the shop having to be moved before I could hang the rest of the board. Probably worth another trip to the dump. I might toss the drywall lift as well. Don't want to be tempted to another project like this one!

I ran out of drywall screws finishing the windows. I was too lazy to go out and buy more, though I did get some after dinner. Now I'm too stoned to do any work. I haven't found the secret to being productive while stoned. I sort of hope I never do : ) Taping starts next week, assuming I don't just nap after work every day.

This is going faster than I remember. I'm about half way through the gap filling stage. The last time I did this the only places that cracked were the ones I didn't fill before taping, so I'm making sure every gap, big and small, is filled. Wondering if I should leave that little heater on with all the cold weather moving through.

Another hour or two and it should be ready for taping and finishing. That's assuming the OSB board in the middle of the floor can be quickly made into a scaffold.

Random thoughts while on my second err third vodka.

I think I'm going to just prime and paint the OSB floor. I don't see how it would be less waterproof than with added vinyl planks, and it saves me about $1000. I don't want it to look too nice anyway, because my wife still wants to put a library up there. I told her I would make space for her library when she made space in the living room for a grow tent.

Still not sure how I'm going to make the access doors. I have no experience with this kind of door, and I don't want them to start sagging or falling apart in a year. Or worse, leak and screw up the heat and A/C. Seems like fence gate hinges and 1/4" finished plywood is my best bet.

Reminds me I need to put in an A/C exhaust vent for the portable A/C I plan to use. I guess I should have done that before the drywall, LOL. I need to put it somewhere the HOA can't see it, too. That's going to be the wall behind the door in the stairwell. I think that $1000 I might save on the floor is about to get wasted on A/C duct work.

Spider Farmer has a 5 X 10 tent that looks really nice. Vivosun has a 5 X 12 that would be better, but their zippers suck. I could get a 6' wide tent in there as long as it was under 80" tall, but I don't see any for sale. Two 6 X 10's would just about fill the available space with a little left over for seedlings and clones. Considering the laws in my state, I must be nuts : )
 
You definitely have a lot of planning ahead.

With all that space I'd have two or maybe even three flower chambers and a nice veg area to prep plants in. You'd have a harvest damn near every month. Harvest and rotate more in..flip.

You've even got room for a nice drying chamber. Endless possibilities.
 
The unusually cold weather is making things difficult. Couldn't get the attic above 50 degrees with the little space heater. A couple of my gap fills never set as a result and ended up cracking. I'm going to pick up some quick set mix later in the week. Spent the afternoon cleaning up all the debris in the shop from cutting drywall.

I have the same issue with weed excess. I'll try to grow small plants and more variety this year. The excess has freed me to experiment with salve, hash, and edibles, though.
