cool vs warm CFls

Is one preferred over the other and is there any difference between the two when growing?

for veg you're going to want the majority to be cool

and for bloom alot more red then blues.

And ex of one of my friends gre with these big cfl things that outputed like equal to 500 watts HID (can't remeber the name, he told me but that was yrs back) and he'd just hang them down amongst the girls and he had very minimal heat and got solid harvest tho...me myself I stick with HID because It's worked for me all thse yrs.

Yeah, what 7 said. Personally I prefer HO T5 for veg and HPS for flower.
