Combo bulbs?

Hey all i just wanted to know if anyone had tried out 1:1 hps:mh bulbs? the kind with a like half length hps filament, and also a half length mh filament.

im guessing a 400w dual bulb would be 200w:200w.

I have seen a 1000 watt one. Seemed to work real good. Pretty expensive also.

nice! i was wondering the benefits of running mh and hps together.

Lotek, very intersting. I'm about to purchase a 400w hps from HTG in a week or so. I've been trying to read up on as much about lights as i can find. I surfed, looking for a dual-arc 400w bulb and no find. Just the 1000w. If someone knows where or if they make a 400w dual-arc-please let me know-any experiece using dual-arc would be cool too-thanks

I've only seen them go down to 600w
