I have a 30 spot ez cloner and have always had a pretty success rate with my clones. This time around they all keep dying on me. The leaves start drying up and curling up and die then days later the whole clone dies. Any suggestions on why this is happening?

What is the rez temps?

I just recently realized my thermometer is not working but the water temp is quite warm and no I do not mist the clones, should I?

I'd try swapping out with fresh water and if you have another strain to try maybe your host plant isn't very healthy?

Good luck!

Should be no need with the EZ-clone.

Make sure all the emiters are clean, also clean out the pumps filter.
Once things get a little plugged the pump over heats the water then it cant hold enough O2.
Try to keep the water below 75f, the directions say 70f.

I just added pictures to this thread now.

If the water feels warm, that's the problem. You can try putting it on a timer, moving it to a cooler location etc.

When they get wilty like that, I always suspect an air embolism.

I don't see an air hose going into the cloner. Are you aerating the water? That is very important. I personally have found that my clones root the fastest when the temp is right at 78-80f, but I am using a DIY aero-cloner as well. :)
