Cheap Lighting

What type of lighting is the cheapest and still capable of lighting a good crop? I'm on a budget.

I moved this over at your request. You can work with CFL's. You will need to have a minimum of 3,000 lumens per square foot of grow space. The more lumens the better. :aok:

or you could go to e-conolight.com
for what you would end up spending on getting enough CFL's
flip the tab and could get a 100 or 150W HPS with bulb for about 50 bucks will have more lumens per watt and better canopy penetration. need to do a touch of wiring...but great price.
