thats pretty good. i have a friend who does eletrical work who says he can get them for like $30. i haven't seen him do it but thats what he claims.. i went to buy one when i started indoors it was like $109 for just the ballast. thats cazy when you can buy a whole setup from insidesun for $100. thanks for the link

I found out with DIY lighting it always ends up costing more to DIY than buying the whole kit, even if the prices add up cheaper before you start, guess it's one of murphy's laws.

I just stick with the complete kits anymore, bulb ballast and reflector.
