CFL Question?

Can anyone give me a link or tell me how to dismantle CFL's in order to place two bulbs into one socket?

go to lowes they have a double socket in the pipe isle..1.96 or .96 cents

There is a site a came across a while ago explaining how to take to cfl's and make into one by re wiring them. This is what I am trying to find out how to do. Thanks though Capone

I think its called a Y adapter C.I.

the only way u could do that is dismantling the screw in end of the lights attaching wires from the connections to the filliments and then wire it directly to an extention cord. but then u got no switch unless u add one in. IMHO ur better off just spending the money to get some big CFLs

I think your going in the wrong direction. The double socket is the way to go. Or go bigger with the CFL.
I see people "overdriving" there florous, we have a DIY somewhere. I found this thread tho to a different DIY.

but one of our members put up a great DIY on hooking 2 ballasts up to a tube flos and jacked the intesity up quite a bit.
