Anyone else luv to play cards? Or gamble in general? I live a busy life but once a month for a 20 hour stint. I luv playing Texas Hold em. Usually just cash games, once in awhile a tournament.

Off to Atlantic City with the wife in a couple hours....:)

Not a big gambler but I love the energy in a casino. I play a little slots, roulette, and occasionally craps. Tonight is more about Fine Dinning though. Hopefully will get to meet Bobby Flay and Michael Simon. :D

My brother is a huge Texas Hold Em fan. He plays tournaments at least once a month.

Craps...the only game.

Parlay the hard 8!

Unfortunately, or fortunately, however you want to look at it, I am only a couple hour drive from Tahoe and Reno, and a 50 min flight to Vegas. Love to throw those dice.
I actually have a craps table at my house and me and the fellas get together now and again and play at home too, so fun.
I used to play hold 'em, until I learned craps. Never looked back. Poker is too boring.

I don't gamble like I used to, but I have done my share in my lifetime. I have lived a few hours away from the Nevada line all my life....and have pretty much gambled all my life. I never got into Texas-Holdem--didn't have that game when I was a young'un. I generally did pretty good at Blackjack. I never really learned all that goes with craps.--it is a fast moving game with lots of different types of wagers.

You know your a gambling addict when you stand at the bar betting on the color of the next car to drive by, while playing Tonk.

love craps---love blackjack---but nothing like the juice from the action of a sports book

Bought a few lottery tix when the drawing gets big....bout it.

never been in a casino but driven past alot of them.

...i literally drive by the signs on the expressway at least once a week.:stoned:

Just left after a 12 hour stint. Tooth is still bothering me, pills made me tired. Came in for 1k and left with 5300k. Decent day :)

They were at the Borgota....had a great time. Met them both and Michael Simon is awesome. Bobby Flay was a bit of a ******. Food was awesome, beer, wine and champagne was all on the house and the beers they had were great. No light beer or typical stuff. IPA's, Double IPA's different Micro brews etc. Short Rib Tacos were the bomb. Had a couple Shrimp Po Boys with thin slices of Granny smith apples that were marinated in brown sugar and butter that were probably my favorite out of everything. Will be going again next year if they have it.

Nice. Yum

What did you get? A root canal? Your tooth should be pain free after seeing the dentist. Maybe some residual soreness but overall you should be feeling better. What kind of pain meds they hook you up with? Vicodin? That is the best that the dentists out here dole out. They don't do scripts for oxy out here. At least no dentist i have been to. Last time I went they tried to give me like Tylenol 3 or some crap. I was like, no no...Vicodin please. :)

Hope you feel better bro.

I used to go to AC a lot. Im a poker guy I don't think I have ever tried anything else. The bad thing is I have a casino even closer (Parx) so it doesn't take much effort for me to go lose my money lol. Gotta stay away from that place!

Yeah but when I go its Texas Hold Em cash games, nothing else!

No. Not a root canal yet. Trying to see if it will stop throbbing on its own. Still bugging me. I can get good meds here. I got some oxy's. Asked for a refill too!

What are the laws there on East coast for Hold em? On tribal land here In WA, its a cap at $500 max bet, 3 raise max.

Well where I play its no limit. 60 min 300 max buy in. Not sure how the high rollers play.

Out here there are limit and no limit games... the $1-$2 no limit game has a $300 buy in cap... never played the $2-$4 no limit bc big $$$ is needed just to sit in and have a chance...

Thanksgiving is the biggest day of the year at casinos. It's also huge sums of money in the poker room in the days prior. I got a big stack of greens for a multi day stint leading up to the main holiday. Wife says no poker on the holiday itself. Have a good week :) Will give updates. Maybe some chip ****!
