Hi everyone,

I've been doing a lot of reading and finally started my grow. I currently have 5
plants growing on the aerogarden. I started off with one on the 3rd August, 2
weeks later i planted 4 more just in case the one was male.

Here's my setup/items currently have:

Current Using:

PPM:
550
Sensi Grow A
Sensi Grow B
Superthrive - 1ml

Overdrive
Big Bud
Bud Blood

Light
400w HPS

Temperature
77 F - Water Temperature/Doors Open
87 F - Doors Closed

Ventilation
Intake
2 x 125mm Fan
Exhaust
1 x 150mm Fan
1 x 125mm Fan

Hours of Light
24/0

Air stone
2

Room Size
1m x 2.2m

Other Info
I'm light stress training the two back corner plants.

Unfortunately they have been through a rough time. I had problems with the
PH last week, for some reason my ph meter wasnt reading right. I managed
to fix that by calibrating the pen with PH7.0 solution. After that I was testing
the ideal height to hang the light and burnt them a bit ... How high should
I put the light?

Hmm after looking at other aerogarden pics I noticed my little ones are a bit on
the floppy side. Is there any way to fix this?

Anyways I've attached a few pictures for everyone and a diagram of my setup.
Any constructive comments are welcome.

First of all I'd like to say welcome to MP we are a truely unique and helping community. There are some amazing knowledgeable growers to help you out!

Those things look NICE and healthy to me! Maybe it's how you have the aero garden set up. Does it spray like so many minutes out of an hour or what? If anything there drooping from being heavily watered so the leaves are very saturated and heavy.

Good luck and GREEN MOJO for females!

Thanks! I've been lurking for a while lol.. I decided to come out and play
with everyone =)

I'm still using the standard aerogarden unit (drip). I have no spray timer but
I think that was from the bug spray i sprayed earlier, for some reason i thought it
was infected and panicked sprayed - with the light on as well! There's a few
burn marks on the foliage.

Is my HPS light too far away? (see picture) I want utilize the light as much
as possible?

I'm a bit worried i might of stunned their growth. The tallest one is 4 weeks old and
its only 4 inch tall.. is that right?

I took your advice and removed the cfl along with a big piece of mylar behind
the door. Temp dropped to 79 F!! Im going to try drop the lamps and see
what happens :D

yea, that looks like you did your work.looks perfect.now that you have that cfl out of there and that light lowered, your ready to roll.Good Job

I never thought a 1x1m piece of Mylar/cfl would generate 2 C degrees of heat each!! Knocked 4 C degrees off and temp is heaps stable now (not climbing slowly) .. o_O

I should be getting C02 tablets + dripper, fan temp controller and ozone generator tomorrow hopefully!! Cant wait to set it up!! And i really need the ozone... The smell is getting bad! :(

Okay dropped it down to 15 inch - temp is holding nicely. I think I can lower the lamp a bit more without the temp going above 85F...???

I got a cooltube attached to the exhaust. Its pretty cool already but i guess i could run another duct for fresh air directly to the hood and another exhaust .. That means i would need additional fans right? Adding more fans might be a bit too loud..

Try to actually raise the light like 2-3 inches just to make sure the plants don't burn (after you get your reflector you can bring it a little closer) and you can buy a low cfm fan so its very quiet and still at least moves air! Hey why not right? It will only help you a ton bro. :D

BTW stick that mylar back up I promise you it won't like concentrate the light and make it hotter LOL it will only reflect that precious light back on your planties!

What you want to do is suck the air away from the cool tube from outsidthe the room. Basically cut a hole in the upper side of your box, hook your hose up to that, run it to the cord/socket side of your cool tube, hook a hose up the other side of the tube and run that out another hole on the opposite side of the box, and finally mount your fan there with the air flow pointed out the box. You want to suck the air away from the light, not push it through. Sorry for the huge run on sentence.

LMAO i love run on sentences because this one time I was at a theme park and I saw a person i knew and i was like oh i know them so i ran after them and when i got up to them i didnt actually know who they were so I was actually pretty embarrased at this point so i ran back to my mom and.....

TAKE A DANG BREATH MAN!

Hahaha your hilarious buddy

Aww mangggg I'm so jelous I'm all out and harvest isn't until another week OH NOES! PLUS 1 month dry brown bag cure...

I was thinking of taking the side mylars off.. I woke up today and temps was at 88 F, seems too much heat is being generated.

88F at the tips
80F room temp

Hmm behind the mylar is a white wall and the back of the door is gloss white. Is that okay?

Its kinda hard to run hoses. My grow is in a closet with 3 sliding mirrors.. =(.. I guess i can open up a gap between the mirrors lol but thats all i can do. i rather play with what i currently have.. Invested too much lol

that is nice!!, but how can you remove the roots, and tranplant to other hydro/aero system for bloom? or you just carry the aerogarden to the bloom room? but remember this, I did tried that before, only gave me 6 oz a year thats all..

I figured i would need more root space, ill make do for now. After i finish with this grow ill design and make my own aero with a bigger res :)
