My latest batch of clones is having a struggle. I'm getting a lot of bleaching; have never seen the leaves turn pale yellow so quickly. I don't normally have this problem. Could it be too much light? I have them in about 6K lumens/ft sq but quite far from the lamps. Temp in the grow room about 11-14C, a bit low I know. 16/8 timing.

imo it is N being sucked out of the leaves. try lightly misting with a dilute nute spray and see if there is new growth.

was the plant you took them from maybe nute deficient?

I don't think that's it, 2Dog, because there are two different sets of clones, the Domina and a bagseed sativa. I don't usually have this much trouble. Maybe it's the temps . . . I just tried Umbra's suggestion and misted them with a solution of ammonium sulphate. Nothing but nitrogen in that. I am getting somewhat concerned.

it could simply be that they are rooting aggressively and using the goods down there...maybe the mist will help...anyway to get them warmer?

IMO 6000 lumens is to much light for clones. Might try a shade to cut the lumen that are reaching the plants down alittle

I'll do that, Ozzy. Worth a try! I'll shade them a bit rather than switch off a lamp because I have a Domina vegging in there.

i give my clones 24/0 light cycle. and IMO, you should get your temps up.

22-26 C i think would be what you want. I'm in Fahrenheit land and keep my clone temps around 75-80

Cold temperature = cold soils = nutrient lock up, retarded photosynthesis, reduced energy use and increased sugar storage; (lower yields, stunted growth, are usual outcomes) ...also effects transpiration, respiration, germination, and flowering.

Umm. OK. I think I will get the MV lamp out. It is only 10K lumens but 450W, gets pretty warm ...
