King Diamond forever!

Nuns hve no fun.....sick song and it rocks. Mercyful fate is one of those bands that gets over looked because they were controversial. They cld play and King Diamond can hit notes only dogs and monkeys can hear. :p

The general consensus among most Metallica aficionados seems to be that everything after The Black Album sucks. I like a very few of their later songs, and the Andres Serrano cover art.

Truly, IMHO the Justice album was their best....

I grew up on Metallica! The black album was released my 8th grade year I think. My mom wouldnt let me listen to rock and roll but I got that album and from then on it was hell on her... god the fights about the stereo blasting...
If I had tgo choose a favorite it would have to be Battery. I just love that song and I will admit, the symphony on S&M only amps it up! I have to agree that Load and beyond were not the best of Metallica. But there's still some good songs in those albums. Except that Lou Reed one. All parties involved should be ashamed. or start partying again and give it another shot...

LOL, I started listening to them just before Cliff was taken from us...man, that guy could wail. My car stereo was so loud, I wore earplugs, the sound would go right through you, bounce off the dash and back...wild days for sure. Was pulled over one night going down between the lakes, cop on a Harley a half mile ahead just pulled to the side and waited for me LMAO...said he loved the Metallica tunes, but guessing the sleeping residents might not be so thrilled...  He told me to roll the windows up, but then said I needed to turn it way down after realizing the air had been on and windows were up. True amp and speaker ratings back then...box had 10 speakers (2 18" Terminators) and wouldn't fit in the hatch of my Formula...

Band went through many a change, that's for sure, but us old time fans really started getting turned off...they were selling out in our eyes. Come on, play with a symphony? :confused2: I probably wouldn't even waste my money to see them if they toured today.

Symphonica is what we called it round here Roddy...lol...And yes, once they released that they we're considered a joke...
