my plant is starting to get pretty tall and its approaching my fence line, i heard you can gradually bend the plant until its horizontal. how much should i bend it each day?

i'd say as much as can be easily bent w/o snapping. this method (lsting) can be used to change where the biggest/best growth is. the top bud is (under nominal circumstances) is the best. when you bend it down , the next highest shoot will take over. i've seen plants grown longways along the ground with lots of buds coming straight up off of them.

just be sure to use a thicker string (not fishing line) and a slip knot so that it won't cut the plant as it grows. and search the grow journals for some lsting...

This is my last years monster, it grew to 12ft in an 8ft greenhouse.

I had her bent into an S shape growing along the ground laying flat.

This picture is only the start, it grew to 4 times the size

All the branches turned upwards and grew big cola on the end of each one ;)

LST is a slow procedure, do not rush it, from having my plant standing upright to getting it flat on the ground took almost 2 weeks.

Bend, leave it 2 days, bend more, leave it 2 days, bend .....

:peace:
