anyone use distilled water?

I live in a part of LA where the water is really hard, I want to know if I could use distilled water instead of tap water with liquid nutes.

Yup. Still PH it and adjust if necessary. It should fall close or near to 7.....but I've had a few screw ball measurements with distilled water. All I have ever used. I have a distiller, its kind of slow. Many here suggest RO machine, will produce more water faster. Less expensive than a distiller as well. I'm thinking of trying one.

Of course as per normal, if you add Cal Mag, nutes, etc., you will need to again adjust Ph.

i found I had best results with a Ph of 5.4 to 6.5

Yeah distilled water not sure . i find it useful to use just filtered water
or even spring water with minerals sometimes tap water i think could serve
a purpose you may want to ad macros and micros using distilled water all the time.
just my observation .
