How tall were they when you topped them?

They were on there forth set of leaves probably 6 to 8 inches they are staying short from blasting them with light. Wanted to keep as short as possible going to veg for 2 months normally I only do alittle over a month

Quick question for you would you recommend cutting the big fan leaves off there so the branches will come up or should I leave it
