I cannot possibly photograph my veg room in cross-section because I can barely fit into it myself, so I hope the attached "diagram" makes sense (pardon the aesthetical incorrectness: I am a better artist than this drawing indicates). Since hot air rises, do I stick the intake fan at the bottom of the doorway and the exhaust fan on the shelf? Is there a better way to arrange the fans than how I have em set up in the diagram? *cough* THG, pcduck *cough*

I like the fresh air coming in the bottom that way the coolest co2 rich air is getting to the plants before mixing with air in thew grow room

I like the fresh air on the bottom and try and hang the exhaust fan as High in the room as ya cn...and if ya can place it at the door will help remove more heat...just my thoughts

Precisely. That is what I am attempting with this setup but it feels as though there is something missing. (I mean, besides an air-cooled hood. )

Lacking an air cooled hood, this is the best that you can do IMO. Since the coolest air is near the floor, you want to draw cool air there. Conversely, since warm air rises, the hottest air is going to be at the top of your space and that is the best place to have an exhaust fan.
