I'm doing my first outdoor grow without any help from anyone (people coming over and basically doing it for me showing me how to do it...i hate that). I'm curious as to when the sex will start to show on plants from seeds? Around July or so?

Thank you!

I've found, in my experience.. that outdoor plants will take longer to exhibit sex than indoor plants. In the N. hemisphere, the longest day is June 21. My outdoor plants will usually start showing me their "colors" by mid to late August.
I think it is due to the fact that since they are not switched directly into 12 hours of darkness, it simply takes more time for them to produce the flourigen required to exhibit.

Cant you tell the sex by more than one way.
Like leaf shape, how bushy or something?

.. NOPE.. nothing other than pistills or stamen will allow you to determine gender.

Im sooo going to regret this in the morning lol

When your older you will learn how to tell the sex, as for now, I suggest you dont let strange men ask you if you like sweeties ;)

Just a joke no nastiness, I simply read this and saw a funny side to it.

...After a few drinks they usually show sex...

sorry, could not help myself.

Hick has hit it dead on, always a few weeks after the solstice, usually.
Unless you have an auto flower strain, then it's just a matter of how old the plants are.
