This is my first grow. I have a couple basic questions that im sure are stupid. but for some reason i havent found the info. The search bar on the site hasnt been much of a help for me so please refrain from just telling me to read through the 100's of 1000's of posts on here...

1. do i need a mother plant to keep growing? or can i just crop and start over with the same plant?

2. im setting up in a closet in my bedroom in th back of my place, i know u dont have the blueprints of my house but im just wondering if i will have a strong smell to deal with? if my gf's family ever comes over lol.. im thinking of only growing 6 plants, hopefully they will mostly all be female so i wont have to toss many of those six.

any info u can give would be greatly appreciated. T H A N K S

1) no, you do not have to have a mother. As for crop if you mean can you harvest then reveg the plant, yes.

2) There are strain that have very little smell. Build a carbon filter and the smell problem will be take care of

Some strains wreak...others hve little to no odor at all...

some strains reveg well, others don't...
revegging takes up a lot of time in most cases.

Rather than revegging, I would take cuttings before switching to flowering, root them and then switch the older plant to flower. Keep the strongest best looking rooted clones and only keep as many as you have room to grow. I would also transplant a couple more of the clones than you have room to grow out so that you can choose the best ones to keep in case something goes wrong during the transplanting phase.

If you know other growers and have good plants, you can always sell, give away or barter growing plants that are of a reasonable size.

If you are talking about autoflowering strains, then forget it all and just grow from seed each time as they are very difficult, if not impossible, to either clone or reveg.

Great smoking.
