i have a 5 inch plant and its been on a 24 hour light schedule and its starting to grow leafs in the corners of the branches and the stem, should i begin it on a 12/12 light schdule or is it to early?

Sounds early at only 5". How long has it been vegging? Are the nodes alternating?

Pics would help.

yes it has 4 different nodes its 6 weeks old. my other plants were 13 inches tall when they started to leaf at the nodes it just seems kinda early idk its my first time growing i got 3 total

only explanation i can imagine why a plant under 24 hr light is "flowering" is if it'd an auto---even then---6 weeks and 5 " seems unlikely you are "flowering"

pics would help greatly. 6 weeks old, they should be much bigger. a more detailed explaination of what you have been doing with them for the past 6 weeks is necessary to help you.

I am pretty sure that you are simply seeing new growth at the leaf nodes--not flowers. Five inches is very small for a 6 week old plant. I'm with shortbus, could you give us some more info about your setup? Light, space, ventilation, grow medium, nutrients, temps, etc.

i have 3 lamps hanging upside down with 3 20 watt cfls 1250 lumens a piece it just seems weird cause my bigger ones thats 18 inches stated doing that at 15 inches.

i posted in your other thread, i need to reason to keep both going. they're about the same thing

I agree with shortbus. I also answered in your other thread. If it is okay with you, I would like to delete this thread and keep the other one?
