2nd grow

Ok this is my 2nd grow im using MG moisture control potting soil mix with some peat moss and perlite added, i started 4 seeds and this is the only female that came out. im using 6 23 watt cfls equals 9900 lumens, in a 3x3x3 home made closet box. here are some pics, any help would be great. also im waiting on a HID from inside sun, 400 watts MH ballast and all 99.99 good deal.

Nice and green and healthy. Looking good so far. One question though, did you cut the leaves? That's what it looks like. I would NEVER do that to a plant. ????

The 400 watt hps will help out immensely. She will be loving you for that light. Keep us posted on your progress. Take care and be safe.

ya i cut the leaves, i read somewhere that cutting the tips off of fan leaves could promote faster branch growth because the plant has to move less to the tips and moves more toward new growth. after doing it for a while it just seemed crazy to put the plant through that much stress and expect a good end result. live and learn. if i hadn't of done it i wouldn't known not to.

ok update. shes still doing good. one question i do have is how can i control my ph better? it was staying around 6.0 to 6.5, now its dropped to 5 and i don't know how to raise it back up, my water from the tap is only a 5. besides that all is good, shes not getting much bigger but alot fuller. ill try to post pics later today.
