175 Watt Mh

HOW FAR SHOULD I HAVE THE 175WATT MH FROM THE TOPS OF MY PLANTS. I HAVE SIX PLANTS. PLUS A 4- BLUB 48'' FIXTURE FOR SIDELIGHT I THINK THAT IT COMES UP AROUND 200WATTS OF FLORO'S.LETS SEE 175+200=375WATTS 375 DIV BY 5X2 ROOM COME UP AROUND 53WATTS PER SQ FOOT AND 24500 lumes can anybody tell me if this is right and does it seam like a good harvest to come:ccc:

This is what ya do Sin inc. Put the back of your hand on the top of your plants. If it's hot on your hand it's hot on your plants. Raise the light until it's not hot on the back of your hand. You should be able to get it 12 to 24 inches away IMHO.
