    I don't water cure and control the water soluble pickup by freezing cured material and doing a quick wash with chilled alcohol. 3 minutes for Ethanol and 20 seconds for Isopropyl. Here are pictures of a 3 minute quick wash and a 10 minute quick wash. Note the difference in color.

    Everyone has their own idea about the perfect window. If most of my trichomes are cloudy, I harvest the plant. The amber trichomes do add more sedative effect, but I mostly have as much of that as I can use.

    Tastes like **** but................... Powdery Mildew has no known pernicious aflatoxins, so if you extract the oil and filter at 0.2 microns using a syringe filter, you can remove all the plant parts and spores so that the flavor and smell is gone.
