Just one more question if you don’t mind. Do you use the pre-cut bags or do you work from a long roll and cut and seal them individually?good eye Amigo
nope , i double seal manually but the extra step is worth it

That is a good idea even on vegetables. I hate when I take them time to freeze fresh vegetables and open the freezer later and it loses its seal so double sealing is the way to go!good eye Amigo

I am leaning toward the 8x12 bags

We all thought that was how you rolled ....long roll and custom cuts
