growing lettuce from the stalk

don't thro away the stalk, if U like that lettuce, put a X on the bottom of the stalk, put it in a bowl with water just alittle above the bottom of the stalk, n put it under some light or in a sill where U wellget some good light.
this how it will look in a week



it so simple, I didn't believe it myself,, hope that this will help someone

I put in some soil after a week, n it really does grow

don't know for how long, but the more U pull the leaves , the more more leaves will come back
