Experiments as promised in my introduction.

Some interesting results so far. The two pics are plants that were planted within seconds of each other. The only difference is the soil used. Plant on the left Happy Frog no additional nutes. The pic on the right is Strawberry Fields with no additional nutes. The HF has much bigger leaves and is shorter that SF. The SF plant is taller with narrower leaves.

I was talking to Gangier the other day, he mentioned he ordered almost 100 sets of elephant garlic to plant this fall...he's getting into the Green Acres mentality...:)

The original harvest date was tomorrow. Looks like maybe a little longer. Blue Haze planted Aug. 22

I got a jar of horseradish at the store Saturday. I'd only had it on roast beef one time before, at someone's house for dinner.
Yesterday, I finished up the last of the pot roast I made last week - there wasn't much left except shredded meat. Just about enough to make a sammie the size of maybe a 3/4 lb hamburger. So I toasted a bun and slathered lots of horeseradish on both sides, then threw the meat on it. Nothing else. It was AWESOME!

I now need to graze ☝️

Sorry this took so long but you know...life. The following is my experience with auto flowers

Plant 1 was Blue Haze.Planted 8/22 harvested 10/31 Soil was Miracle Grow. Nutes were Advanced Nutrients as follows, 2ml/l of Bloom, 2ml/l Grow and 2ml/l Micro starting at flowering. I'm watering with city water (7.2 ph) after running it through a Zero Water filter.

Results, everyone said the smell was awesome( I lost my sense of smell) Taste, was a strange earthy dank taste. That could possibly be the Miracle Grow soil. Excellent long lasting buzz Yield 3 ounces

Plant 2 Blue Amnesia planted 9/31 harvested 11/29 Soil was Foxfarms Happy Frog. Nutes as above. Everyone remarked on the smell. The taste was fantastic as was the buzz. This plant grew short and very bushy. Yield 1 ounce

Plant 3 Blue Amnesia planted 9/31 harvested 11/29. Soil was Foxfarms Strawberry Fields. Nutes same as the others. Smell , taste and buzz all excellent. This plant grew quite a bit taller than the Happy Frog. Also further node spacing and a much taller plant. Yield 1 ounce

Plant 4 Blue Amnesia planted 10/3 harvested 12/7. Soil was Happy Frog. Nutes half of above rates. Smell, taste and buzz excellent. This plant grew short and bushy. Yield 1.5 ounces

Plant 5 Blue Haze planted 10/2 harvested 12/5. Soil was Strawberry Fields. Nutes half rate again. Smell, taste and buzz excellent. This plant grew taller with a larger node spacing but yielded the same amount 1.5 ounces

The experiments this year are the difference between inside and outside growing. The plants chosen for this set of experiments are:

Gelato 33

God's Green Crack

Gorilla Glue

Purple Lemonade

Qrazy Train

Inside plants will be using Happy Frog soil with the same nutes at the same rates

The photos are just random bud pics from the plants harvested

So the Miracle Grow produced the biggest harvest. Interesting.
I use MG organic soils that work pretty good.
