my first grow and i know i dont want males, but just females for the bud. when i flower and remove the males what do i do if i see hermies?
can you use seeds from a hermie?

you should toss out the hermies as well man they can pollinate you rfemals as well as themselves and then you not only have the hermie plant that gets seeded but all of them do, and yes you can use the seeds from a hermie plant with the same odds as any old bag seed of getting male female or another hermie

can you tell me more info on hermies and when do they show and what do they look like. Is it a common thing to get hermies?

due to stress (or genetics)a female can turn into a hermie and grow balls, seeds coming from a hermie or from a fem pollenate from a hermie are useless because they'll produce more hermies

so this cheap bagweed (regi)i get sometimes is a hermie plant? you can see what looks like a bud with seeds in it. so if i used these seeds they would be hermie?

It could just be a pollenated bud. Thats how you get seeds. not neccisarily a hermie.

depends from the weed they came from, not all bagseeds turns in a hermie you just have more possibilites to have a hermie,it could come out in a very decent bud-check out the forum for some very nice bagseed grows

you can see all the kinds of plants on this site m,f,h, jsut do a search on what kind of plant your looking for and presto itll show up heck there was a guy about a month ago that had a thread going the the indoor section about a flowering hermie

Hermie's are less potent, because they use resources to create seeds.

Hermies can pollinate your Females..

Take them out.. ASAP.
