When is the best time to start a grow outside? what moth how long does it take from flower stage to veg stage?

Depending on what location you are at on the globe all depends on the life cycles. at the 43rd, anything after the frost free period is a good idea, but a better idea is to start indoors under some cool flourescent lights with a 24/7 light cycle. this gives your plants a head start, untill the warmer weather comes. you can veg. your plants for as long as you would like, eventually they will begin to show signs of thier sex, i believe it to be around 4-6weeks of veg. when this happens you can pull the males to go for an entire sensimila (can't spell) garden.

Once your plants are rooted enough and can stand outdoor weather without stress, a good idea is to put them ouside for longer and longer periods ata time before they straight to outdoor weather, less risk of shock. before any of this takes place, try and find an ideal spot that has plenty of sun all day, at least 6+ hours, and obviously out of public way. get you medium ready. black dirt with vermichalite, peatmoss, a little sand and some broken down manure would make for a nice mix.when all is said and done, your girls should be ready to start making you happy, hope this helps, and if not, then it's cause of wake and bake!

Sorry, 43rd parralell on the world map. NewEngland area. the weather here is always changing, so an indoor start is always a great way to go, and that way, you can have nice vigorous plants to go outside when the weather is great. i usually do indoors with some cfls compact flouros, most will swear by them, cheap and reliable, plus you can pack many in a small space. i figure my girls will be ready for trans plant at about mid may-early june, depending on weather of course. oh and BTW, make sure you have a gallon of medium(dirt) for every foot vertical growth, that way your plants won't become root bound. if there are any more q's, don't hesitate to post man, let us know what you decide on doing, maybe get a grow journal going, that way as you go and progress, the knoledgable people here can contribute and make you a seasoned grower in no time. it's great and the overall feeling of being abel to enjoy something you created is wonderful, especially when you share with friwnds and they compliment it.
