Hey justed wanted to say hey. Stumbled on to this site today and I have to say WOW. This site has everything that someone could ever need or want to know about my favorite past time. I am going to try and grow for the first time. I am alittle uneasy about getting everything to grow right. If you have any helpful tips, I would be extremly greatful....

Hey there Haleraiser,

Welcome to the site , your gonna love it here. Look over the rules if you will, they are easy to abide with. We love good pics, and we all like to help. Feel free to ask all the questions about smoking and growing that you want, but before you go nuts asking questions, check out the forums, cause it's likely that someone has already asked that very question, so there will be answers at your finger tips just waiting for ya.
My advice would be to go at it slowly, Take your time, make a solid checklist of the items that you will need. Once you have it all together, fire it up, and allow it to cycle for awhile so you can get it all dialed in.

hello and welcome good luck on starting your 1st grow :bong2:

Welcome to MP...to adequately grow you will need the following:

Adequate lights (either fluoro's or HID)
appropriate grow medium (I suggest growing in dirt, til you get the feel)
adequate air ventilation (simple fans and good fresh air)
good genetics (I would suggest that you grow with bag seed to start, then graduate to better, known genetics)...
a healthy water supply (rev. osmosis water works great)
a good attitude
knowledge of the basic rules of growing (i.e. TELL NO ONE that you grow)
time to read, read, read on sites like this one...

hope this helps you on the road to growing some fine greens...
