check these out. http://www.stealthhydroponics.com/product.php?xProd=120&xSec=3

im using these as well as a 70w hps for my grow. i dont think they would be sufficient by themselves though. maybe if you get 2 of them.

$199.99? You can easy get a 400 hps for that kind of money.
If you want to use CFL lighting get them at wal mart for a fraction of that price.

1000bulbs.com has some nice compact flos hi-wattage for cheap. all the way up to 105W pumping out 6000 lumens plus.

WOW 80 bucks is steep
LINK
105W 5000Kelvin 6900lumens for 22.86
You can get the same hood rated for 100w or more at walmart for 15 bucks.
So lil less lumens but 40 bucks.
So you can get two at the same price and have over 4500 lumens more.
just requires regular medium socket.

Startin to see these set-ups more and more on ebay and other places. they are basically doing what i just recommended. The lighting industry is a lil on the crooked side unless they are telling you what you need to know. They say dual spectrum but didn't notice them givin us a kelvin temp. :confused2: always makes me suspicious when they don't tell you the color temp.

Ebay is notorious for putting "florex" bulbs and claiming just as good as a HID all the time. when all the GE CFL's at wal-mart have flroex tech on the box but sell at 1/4 of the price. :p

Just my two cents.

you want cool white CFl's for veg and warm white for flowering
