What’s going on

Hi all. Just checked in on my plants and noticed these spots in the picture. Some look like they are coming from the inside out and some look like chew marks. I am in mass and growing in soil outside. Any ideas

I’ve not personally had it but it looks like stem borers. Like a worm thing that does as the name suggests. I can’t remember all of the solutions for it but it seems to be fairly common with outdoor grows so you should be able to find a solution if nobody else chimes in
