seedlings get about an inch tall and then the stem gives out and it falls over, any help?
straight water 6.0ph 70 degrees room temp

too much water? not enough water? not enough light?

there are several other variables that can cause this. In optimal conditions, adding a light blwing fan can strengthen your pups.

Splint the stems with little sticks. As md said, get a fan in there. It simulates the wind in nature and will toughen them stems up. Also try and get the light as close as possible without burning. The further the light the greater the stretch.

Happened me on my last 12/12 grow. Don't worry ... they'll be fine.

Make sure you are putting them into a clean environment...I reused trays and lost cuttings and seed to "damping off". My nephew told me that I was loseing them because the trays were transferring bacteria into the grow medium. I bought new seedling trays and have cut my loses down to 2 out of 10...80% success rate, much better than 0...

Peace...j.b.
