Using steam with cannabis

Just tossing this out. Steam from boiling water is 212F. That is just about the temp at which pot decarbs, isn't it?

Just wondering if that constant temp of 212F would be useful in any way. Can't imagine anything easier than an oven at 200F but, like I said, just tossing it out for thought.

I wonder if it would work for extraction.

How about other liquids beside water? Perhaps there is a safe liquid that boils at the proper temperature for extraction.

OK, how about this one (this is what I get for smoking hash for brreakfast)..... think electric lighter.

I could easily build a circuit that would heat a coil to exactly 365 degrees F. Put the coil inside a tube about 1/2" in diameter.

Place the open end of the tube over your regular pot pipe. Average bowl being 1/2", the tube should fit snug on the top of the pipe bowl.

Hit the switch and when you draw through the pipe, the room temp air comes into the tube and is heated by the coil to the proper temp for vaporizing (I think that's about 365F) and then passes through the pot in the bowl and vaps the pot as you draw.

This is different than the other portable vapes I have. Ny MFLB heats the pot on a little heating pad. Same with my Pax. My big vape heates the air and you draw it through much like this but my version would be portable. And, mine works with your current regular pipe.

A temp towards 315-335 will give a better, smoother taste when vaping ime.

I can create whatever temp I need to hit the sweet spot for vaping. The details are the easy part. LOL If I just use a resistor circuit, I would use a potentiometer so it would be adjustable. Once I find the perfect temp I could substitute a common carbon resistor.

I am looking for an old car cigarette lighter to use as my coil. Perfect size.
