Okay we have about 7 plants just down in our rec room under a full spectrum bulb. They are growing fine, a little lanky but growing. I had them on a 12/12 cycle and now put them down to 8 hours of light. Will they flower? Are we doing this all wrong? I know I fed them wrong and will do it right with the next crop (used one of those 4mth feeder seed things) so basically....would anyone care to help some new comers from step one for our next try?

Keep them on 12/12 to flower. Do not interupt the dark period. 12 hours of uninterupted dark.

Okay lots of questions...7 plants...how old? Do you know the strain? Is a full spectrum bulb just a plain old light bulb? Now some things you are doing wrong for sure...Lanky sounds like you don't hve the right amount of light or even the right type of light...how big is your grow space? How many lumens is your bulb?
Don't reduce the amount of light lower than 12 hours...the plants need the 12 hours of light to work on building those buds...

We need to know way way more about your grow to help. Size of your space, type and size of your light(s), type of soil, size of containers, ventilation, type of nutrients, etc, etc, etc.

It will benefit you to go to the Resource section and read. This may sound harsh, but if you do not even know that plants need a 12/12 light regime to flower, you have some learnin' to do :D .

Thanks guys as I said I have no clue. The plants are in various size pots at various ages and yes we are using a full spectrum bulb. I used the Osomote or something 4 mth feeding :( So yes we have made many mistakes. Can anyone direct me on the site to the thread or stickys that will help me the best? We want to do it right next time around..... I am trying to get these guys to flower before they die on me due to my poor care :( I have both sativa and Indica in there. I have no idea what kind they are other than that as they were in with some stuff from a friend that grows their own.
