Is there any problem with starting seedling - once they are few inches tall cut down the light - when sex shows ditch the males and increase the light again to make ladies grow bigger then reduce the light again when they are a decent size?

Any problems with starting indoors then moving outdoors once sex is discovered?

You can shock females with extreme changes in lights... they might turn out hermies.

yeah thats what i was going to say keep them outside and their tell you their sex it just takes time on my biggest on its start6in to show signs of a female hopefully is got my fingures crossed peace

Thing is UK is too cold to start with (april) so wanna have ladies ready so soon as it get hot enough can stick them outdoors. Therefore still allowing time in august to cut the sunlight down with a tarp so get good bit of strong sunshine (if we're lucky!) to flower up before it starts getting to cold again (sept/oct).
