LAREDO, TX -- More than 41/2 tons of pot has been found in an abandoned school bus near the U.S.-Mexico border.
A Texas Department of Public Safety statement released Tuesday says a state trooper found the drugs near Laredo, on the side of U.S. 59 in Webb County, over the weekend. According to the statement, 560 marijuana bundles totaling more than 9,210 pounds were hidden under a cardboard false floor and in a secret ceiling compartment.
The DPS estimates the marijuana is worth $3.9 million retail and says the seizure is the second largest it's made during routine traffic enforcement since 1997.
The agency is asking for public help in identifying suspects. The DPS wants Anyone with information to call ***-***-****.

didnt think the number was necessary since no one is going to try and help, haha.
but the second largest?? 9k lbs???? i wonder what the first is = /

So, there wasn't anyone around when they found the bus?

I told Stoney Junior not to leave his stuff on the damn school bus!:hubba: :D

Just once in my life, I want to be the first one to find something like that.

Like a suitcase full of money...Yeah, I'd return it...uh huh...hello officer, I want to give you this suitcase with a million dollars in it...THAT conversation ain't never gonna happen!

I'd just like to find a few $100s blowing around in the wind or the suitcase wouldn't be too bad lmao.

You think it was dropped off waiting to be picked up like the empty boats the U.S. Coast & Customs seize? Or maybe a $1500 ol' school bus to haul $3.9 mill in green?

I bet the engine broke and the guys dipped. For the cartel guys, this isn't really that big of a hit. They'll have another shipment over in a bit :) I'd be interested to know if pot prices for you guys on the west go up, or if it becomes dry due to this?
