ok the first plant i planted got to tall 2 quick it is like 3 inches hi and only has its first 4 leaves ,the 2 leaves that are first to grow and the second pair that look like your tipical mj leaves.so i was wonderin if i could put more dirt in the pot so it wont be so tall our will it rot the stim?and if i cant do that what else should i do ,because it wants to fall over and its not cause air has not been getin to it cause i had plenty of air blowin on it cause i heard it makes the stim fatter i just started haVIN THIS PROBLOM within the last 24 hours besides that the plant is nice and green and fuzzy lookin ,im hopein i can add more soil? and i have it straight up and down now i put somethin upaginst it to hold it up

Yes, you can gently add more soil around the stem. That's a common trick for resolving exactly what you describe.

Don't pack it. Just firm it up against the stem.

Within a few days, new roots will grow from the stem you covered.

tom,how far you keep your light? if you keep your light way 2 far the seedling will streetch and grow taller

i've used similar methods on older plants as well, nicking the stem with a razor and applying my rooting hormone

Like Jash said, it sounds like they are stretching to get to the light, put the light closer, or get more lights, also blowing a fan will do exactly what you said, makes the stem thicker and stronger.
