I am in about my 8th wek of vegging with my 10 plants and i am days away from setting them into flowering. For the most part the plants appear to be healthy and are all within 8( a lil runt) -15" tall. My only problem is that some leaves on different plants have different problems. Here are some photos and maybe you can help me out.

On the package of nutrients you're using, what is the method of mixing it? What are you using? How are you mixing it? How often do you water your plants with what method? Is there nutrients in the water each time?

I water as needed by pouring it in with no nutes in it. I used nutrients about 5 wks ago but once small burns started i haven't used since, also during that time i put miracle grow spikes in but took as many as i could out when someone had mentioned there no good, there are still sum in there though b/c once wet they werent that easy to get them out of the soil. Here is a shot of all 10 of them.

It looks like you have them in Perlite. Is there soil under that?

If not, then I think your plants are starving to death. They need some good marijuana specific nutrients in the right amount.

What do you use for lights? How many lumens per/sq ft?

What nutrients were you using before you stoped? How often and how much were u using?

I'm going to have to go with Stoney here and say that your plants are probably starving unless you have some very high in nute soil under all that perilite simply because if you havn't been feeding them at all for the last 5 weeks and by now most of that soil's nutrients have to be used up this late into your grow. One last question have you tried flushing ur mix or repotted lately?

LOL, yes i have soil under there(Miracle Grow Organic Blend) Only have about a 1/2" of perlite on top, heard it was good to put some on top with a little gnat problem i'm having. Actually just tonite my grow partner and I flushed all 10 completley, through a lil more soil on them and took out the perlite and am in the process of trying the sand method i've also heard. Well then nutrients I was using was in each pot only one time I sprinkled the required amount of a blood meal(nitrogen) and some phosphate in each pot. If they look like nute burn to you then I probably know what it is. About 5 wks ago before I knew i thought i could nute them up alot and bought some of the nute spikes and put 6 in each pot, 2 days later i heard they were bad and took them out but they got soft and I couldn't get them all out so maybe there taking some affect now, they were suppose to last for 3 months neway.

Miracle Grow "Potting Mix" is the only one I've heard that works well with MJ. The other Miracle Grow products are either too strong in nitrogen or not strong enough in other aspects of the spectrum of nutrients that MJ needs.

Lot's and Lot's and Lot's of people burn their plants with Miracle Grow.

Then you added even more inappropriate nutrients to the mix with the spikes.

While your plants are still small enough, you need to transplant them into some PLAIN soil. Soil with NO nutes.

Your plants will recover nicely after a week or so and you can start using the proper nutes in the correct strength.

"Fox Farms" is a very popular brand.

Good luck man. If you leave them in that mix you have now, you're going to be hounded with problems.

Here's a thread that discusses "Diatomaceous Earth". It will get rid of all your soil pests.

I have been using this soil for about 8 weeks now, do you think there was anyhitng that took this long to take affect then. Also i was posting on asnother thread and someone said they exact opposite of what your telling me saying that I may have used up all the nutrients in the soil.

Whats the PH? Could be nutrient lockout. Don't matter how much nutrients you add until you fix PH the problem will just compound.
8 weeks of veg with chem ferts...a flush is in order to get the built up salts out.

Edit: you flushed...Give it some time to recover. I would still check you PH of the water run off. Also check the PH of your water.

I think you may have been alright if you'd not used the plant spikes. No, I don't think you've used all the nutrients in that soil with the plants at the size they are.

One of the reasons to only use one thread per/question is to avoid confusion.

If you'll give me a link to your other post, I'll combine the two threads for you.

Yeah stoney i kind of thought it was the plant spikes in the first place but this is my first grow and was just unsure. Two days after I put the spikes in i had heard they were bad and took as many as i could out but by that time they were already soft.

As for what your asking Mutt the I don't have a high tech PH tester by my meter when i put it in the soil reads anywhere from 6.6-7.0
