Hello everyone,
Just wanted to indroduce myself...
A little background....
I made a pathetic yet extremly educational attempt at growing years ago. However a few florescent bulbs in my closet while still living in my folks house was just destined for failure. These days life (and the bank) has granted me more space and funds to play with.
These days.....
I now have a 4'x4' tent with a 3'6"x3'6" eb'n flow tray. Lighting it up with a 600 hps with a blue spectrum bulb. Filtering the air through a nice charcoal filter, then through my light fixture and out the top of the tent using 4" ducting. Trying out the Pure Blend Pro system by Botanicare and I am having good results so far.
I grew 9 seeds from the best bag I could aquire. Grew them to about 1' while determining which posessed traits that I like the most (kept the 3 thick shorties as I am using a tent after all). Took clones from all 3 plants. While the clones rooted I put the mothers into flowering to determine the sex. Much to my suprise they were all female. Broke my heart to kill em but I wanted to do more then three plants. So I now have 12 beautiful little girls playing in the tent. I've topped them all twice so I am developing 4 tops each.
They are 8 days into flowering at this point and they're looking good if I say so myself (and I do).
Why I'm here.....
because the name of the site isn't marjuana hobby, or marijuana for kicks. I truely am passionate about our favorite plant. I have no medical ailments that necesitate my use. Yet I still use for health reasons. I smoke and therfore others still have their health. I plan on starting a grow journal this weekend and hope that you find time to laugh at my mishaps and provide a nudge in the right direction.
And with that said, I'm out.
