Cold, fog and an all around crappy day here. No walk this morning.... maybe later. More starts showing roots and other garden chores will keep me hopping.

pretty much the same if not more maintenance and upkeep on a home

we like the classic look of the older boats , the mahogany and teak

but we also like the ease of maintenance on a fiberglass and they are pleasing to look at too

so yeah , maybe we will get lucky and find a happy medium between wood and glass

Back from the vascular doc's. Got a ultrasound on the big'uns in my neck. The drop dead gorgeous gal that did the test took my blood pressure before she started. 141/85. She said it was a little high. I told her that when a pretty little blond didn't raise my blood pressure, she'd might as well get a shovel 'cause I'd be dead. I'm an old dog, but I'm still a dog.

I have a heat gun, might be too much. Had to heat up a magazine tube about 260 or 10 mins or so before the glob of Turkish lock tite let go. Maybe the hair dryer would be best.

I do a bit but no yacht though - a friend has a Leopard 48 cat and I like to join him for some fair weather sailing when I come to the townhouse in CT.

Was fortunate to have attended a high school that had many of SA's top young dinghy sailors there that went on to do big things in offshore yachting.

I had finished a basement apt for my ex.
Her first tenant was a Black girl who was anal retentive spotlessly clean .In the military ,there for a few years.
The sewage ejector started to leak and not pump. I open it up and there was a collar of beacon grease which prevented the float switch to come on.
I remember using a shovel to scoop it out .
We spoke and she did not know and it was never a issue again
