Yeah that is me. I have finally had it with trying to stay green in Maine. The supply here is so bad that if you found anything it is an arm and a leg and maybe a child or two to get it. So after much arguing with the boss.... (wife) I have convinced her that the best thing to do is grow my own. So know I will read read read till I feel that I got it and start my own grow facility. All I have right now is a basement and drive so I'll need the knowledge I can get. I really only want to grow 4 to 6 plants just enough to keep me high for the rest of my life. So until I start building I will be reading. Oh yeah I also want to build a grow box to completely isolate the plants etc. So any help along those lines will be much appreciated.

In my lil ole opinion, basements are the BEST places to grow! Security, temp, cleanliness, light leaks, etc..all optimum for a small grower in a basement..(as opposed to garage, outbuilding, or attic)

I lived in Bar Harbor years ago, so I'm guessing that you'll want to make sure it doesn't get tooo cold, but in a basemant, its alot easier to deal with...

Get a camera! I didn't have one at first and I could've taken pics of my space and gotten suggestions..I could've documented pics of my grows with the problems I had (pics of my leaves to identify nutrient deficiencies etc..)

If I were just getting started, I'd get some pics of my space, describe it's dimensions and details, and after reading my *** off, post here in the General Indoor section and get some great feedback...
