Right now I have 4 seedlings in starter cups in the woods. The woods that I want to plant them in is kind of swampy and the ground is wet. Will this soil be fine to grow in? Should I get a soil test kit to see if it's suitable?

no i wouldn`t plant it in soil that the water is standing in. It needs to be well drained. If your planting in an area and you can`t find big stalks from big plants that grew there last year then mj won`t do good there. Look for big weeds that grew in the area last year and died over the winter.

yeah make sure the ph isnt too high and is the soil always moist or just sometime if so you could have a prob with rot root another thing you could do is plant them in 5 gallon buckets dig a hole for them to sit in and its not to noticeable

Nah, i wouldn't plant in a swampy area, too many risks such as animals, pests, flood, root rotage. a lot of things.

I would definately plant near a river i know wouldn't flood or a lake because the ground is moist and takes longer to dry out but isn't enough to rot the roots.

good luck bro and best wishes on your grow.
