How much direct sunlight does a plant need? My problem is I only have access to about 3 hours a day but the plants do get lots of light. What kind of plants can I expect with such little direct sunlight? Also what about heat? I live in Spain and now the weather is very hot. I'd really appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

im in the UK myself, but, they need something like 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. the sun is higher in the summer anyway.

Yeah i'd say 6-8 is good for the plants. there's no areas that you can scope out that get more than 3 hours of direct sunlight a day?

If you can't maybe you can reflect some light with mylar. People use heat blankets which can be purchased at very cheap price. maybe 1 pound/2 dollars. You can use that to reflect some light to increase your ammount of direct sunlight a day.

I definitely can't get any more at the moment but as the summer goes on I should be able to get more.

Yup, well good luck with it all and best wishes!
