hey all,
got some seed through the post from the doc, but the "skunk widdow" seed that i ordered are very small, a good colour, but compared to my "cosmic nights" they are about half the size. very obvious.
anyone know if this is normal for the strain or the x of the white widdow and skunk?
i`m not too worried, as they look good colour-wise.it`s not just some of them but "all" are this small size, which gives me confidence in that it`s normal for this strain x.
every view and reply are very much appreciated,
cheers.:48: :chuck: :bong:

I've had tiny black ones that looked like they would never germ but they did. Although, I have had a few that required more attention than others, but color or size wasn't an indication.

I pretty much pop them one at a time lately. Seems if one is bad or goes rotten, less chance of it taking the rest with it.

Try different temps and such with stubborn beans...weak kelp solutions.

After a week if they still haven't popped, I put them in a 'jiffy' cube...and a few have came up that way.

Good Luck:ccc:

E-man,i have a question about the beans that take longer to sprout.
Is there any reduction in potency, mainly potency.
are they more prone to disease,or def or whatever? i ask this because i was told that seeds that didn`t sprout with the rest, and took longer to germ, "would" be slower growing and all sorts of nasty stuff man.
was that:bs: i was hearing then?:) :stoned:

I have never heard of the speed of germination having anything to do with vigor or potency. I let them all grow if they want to, and while some are slow, so far none have died and I am gonna smoke them all....heehee.

thanx E-man,i was a lil` bit uneasy about them earlier, but that`s cleared things up good for me:) .
This may sound way basic man but, as i know you are a typing encyclopedia;) here goes..as i`m still "learning" ,i have become more concerned, and aware of what my ladies are taking up(this could also be as i fried my last grow, big style) through their root system.what "promotes" root growth? and also, lately i have been hearing great things about a product named "superthrive",any views on this?
i`m also going to pick up some "worm castings" even though over here in the uk they cost a small fortune (like £10 for a very small plastic container!) after reading up a bit, i might set up a lil` worm farm, although that is still a thought at the moment. i would like to go "100% organic" with only my own selected mix of "natural" fertilizer. "I" think that`s the best way to go, having full control of the food spectrum.damn this is a long one, thanx to anyone who has stuck this one out!lol
would love to see anyone elses views on the topics i raised:rolleyes: .
peace man:48:
